Deuce II computer in Oslo. The earlier Deuce machine was developed by English Electric at NPL, Teddington as a productionised version of ACE.
An early mercury delay line storage device is shown. This machine was programmed using punched cards Late in it's life Deuce was "speeded up" using the newly available transistors to bridge the cathode resistors of each binary stage which used two valve diodes.
